Arrive in ATL, hellos to family, cats. Phone calls to Ware & Buckley reveal party and dinner plans. Charming! Intense shower/nap, wonderfully made dinner Chez Georges, courtesy of Monsieur Case & Mademoiselle Ware, eaten less than delicately by yours truly, the aforementioned, plus Noel. Little trip to pick up Gimpy Buckley, found McCune & Reed, returned to Case’s. Cars to Haygood’s, madness ensues. Stewart Caughman, you’d best be reading this. I just remembered I wrote down my blog address for you. Hi!

Sat:
Sleep. Sleep. Putz. Putz. Case, Noel, Riggs, Bland, Coyne, Buckley 2, Buckley 4, McCune, Ware (is that it?) arrive, all enjoy ceremonial viewing of Monty Python & the Holy Grail in celebration of my completion of the Medieval Lit course that wouldn’t die. Some stay after to watch Rat Race on HBO (eet ees a heart!), Coyne stays to watch Season 5 Episode 72 of SATC. Coyne leaves. Watch CourtTV till… too late.

Sun:
Sleep. Entertain Small Mizell till dinner. Dinner with 6 Mizells. Then… something? I don’t remember. Chez Buckley?

Mon:
Sleep. Pick up Buckley, execute stalking attempt #1 of 2 Cute Francophones. Fail. Go to Theater Camp AKA Sad Sad Man Exerts The Only Pithy Power He Has Over Ten-Year-Olds In Homoerotic Power Trip Because He Can to visit Case. [Note: Case is not the aforementioned Sad Sad Man. duh.] Go to Willy’s with Buckley. Mmm. Return home, change clothes, watch TV, depart for Back Fields of Westminster. Play Ultimate with Ware, Quillian, Molly, Garrett, Kappel, Riggs, Noel, Haygood, Brumby, Bland, Balena. And Bullwinkle. Lose game. Jump in Buckley Pool. Re-dress in Buckley’s clothes & makeup. Go to OK Cafe, eat 4 slices of Fried Green Tomatoes, 1 BBQ Pork Sandwich, 1 Baked Sweet Potato with Pecans & Brown Sugar. Mmm. Go Home. Watch CourtTV.

Tues:
Sleep. Um… no recollection. Crap. Help? Went to Dentist… and… drove around in Jag… and… don’t know.

Wed:
Sleep. Take Case to Houston’s for lunch. Mmm. Drop Case off, execute stalking attempt #2 of 2 Cute Francophones. Succeed, receiving hugs’n'kisses. Too cute. Get sucked into speaking for Philanthropy Class. Do so for 2 minutes. Escape. Discuss my educational predictability with The Roberts I Like [Doc]. Discuss Terps, Brothers with Mary DuP. Leave. Call Tubby. Sit in parking lot at Van Michael Buckhead. Get hair cut off by 40-year-old Clay Aiken Lookalike. Enjoy it. Go home. Dnnr @ Murphy’s with family, Gaines Patton, Patton. Yay! Chez Buckley, drive around, throw frisbee in ‘Bou Lot. Go Home. Watch CourtTV.

Thurs:
Up Real Early, CHICKFILA BREAKFAST with Buckley. Aahhhhhhh.

Back in the E… it’s cold (what? yes.), but it’s getting better. Many thanks to Swinford, Halgrimson, family, Sweas, Davis from Afar, Hughes for comfort. It’s lonely as hell in the linoleum palace, Liz Phair has a single on 101.9 (what? yes.), I miss all my Tubbies and prepared meals (already? what? yes.) and of course the cats, but look forward to settling in at the new place next week. With my new pretty comforter and my new pretty hair and my old pretty very small for the summer wardrobe and junk collection ha ha. what? yes.

In other news, my summer reading is actually really good thus far! I am 2.5 stories into book 1 of 11. All will be put on hold for Potter, don’t worry. Also, the part of that TIME article about Potter that made me cry wasn’t the girl dying of cancer, it was the happy paragraph about how kids who’ve hated reading get started on Harry and can’t stop, how reading levels skyrocket in kids who were once behind. I love books. And I think they’re better in the summer.

Gonna pack another box, then lay around, watch TV, read. Yeeow!
