Well, I was going to get a lot done today, this first nasty nasty day of November, but instead I bought a pineapple and came home. I figured a pineapple would be a good solution on a rainy Monday.
My AC unit is still in my window (because it’s not that cold out yet and… I’m lazy) and thus my room still sounds a little bit like summer camp with the rain on the tin roof, except it never rains that well here, so it’s more like an irregular thing, where like maybe one good drop hits it every few seconds. Not ideal, but I at least know when it’s raining.
I have an interview on Wednesday. I need a real person’s bag. And I need a portfolio thing for my resume and stuff. And I need to like, re-program myself to get my ass interviewed. Today I wandered around to all of the various boutique thangs in Evanston to no avail. Tomorrow maybe I’ll hit up Old O again… I need me some fabulosity on my arm. I was gonna go to Norris today to get the portfolio thang… but oh man it’s nasty out. Tomorrow looks better :)
