The bad news:
My post about the beet + goat cheese + raisin + chard + onion + garlic + tomatoes + jalapenos (wore gloves, no MADNESS) + lime juice killer concoction I whipped up for Alexandra’s dinner party was erased because firefox hates me and I didn’t “save as draft” at any point.
Also bad news:
I am so hilariously busy at work that I can barely even think about typing up a full blog post (or, um, re-typing) after the days I’ve been having. Sherri’s and my fearless leader, ADK, departs in 2 weeks, so our productivity level has gone through the roof as a matter of survival. Things will probably calm down in… 10 months or so.
BUT THERE IS GOOD NEWS:
Mom just sent me this link: A Good Year for Beets and Self-Reliance. You may need to get a login to read it, but it is worth it. Thanks, Jams.

Miss J and I are off to D.C. for the weekend to play with Miss Davis, Sus, Prattski and Annie and various and sundry other fronds–there will be photos and foods and monuments in the distance. Like last time!

Firefox 2 rules you. It has “session restore”. When it restarts, etc, it restores the session that was last loaded.
I am NOT sure it works for form data, so your milage may vary. Make sure you have money for tolls.
Now, if you use Windows, there is one great (free) blog client, w.bloggar, which is easy to install, and even easier to do robust content with.
As for your rickets…maybe its time to take the man DOWN. Seriously, is it ever a BAD time to be a FARK headline?
